In ‘Tears of a clown’ I explore the tension between performance and vulnerability within the absurd. The work situates humour as both a mask and mechanism - a means of concealing unease while exposing it through the distortion and play. Soft, biomorphic forms and a subdued palette evoke psychological instability where laughter becomes an act of quiet resistance. The painting reflects my ongoing investigation into the fragile boundary between the comic and the tragic, the human and the surreal.

Non-Refundable Situations (Change of Mind, Personal Preference)

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for original artwork in the following situations:

• Change of Mind: You have no automatic right to a refund if you simply change your mind about a purchase.

• Personal Preference: The artwork is created in a specific style. We cannot offer a refund if the piece does not match your subjective personal preference (e.g., it doesn't match your wall color).

• Minor Variations: As all pieces are hand-painted and unique, minor variations from website photos or descriptions are expected and not grounds for a refund.

• Buyer Mishandling: Damage that occurs after the item has been safely delivered and is due to the buyer's mishandling or improper care is not eligible for a refund.

  
  

Refundable/Returnable Situations

In compliance with consumer protection laws, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the item is faulty or not as described. You must notify us in writing within a reasonable time frame (e.g., 7 days of receipt is standard) to report these issues.

• Original Condition: Eligible returns must be sent back in their original packaging and condition.

Once you complete your purchase, DZY will send you an optional re-sale agreement to sign.

If you decide to resell your artwork in the future, a 15% commission is returned to the artist or her estate.
