This policy outlines the conditions for returns and refunds for original, hand-painted artwork purchased from DZY. Please read this carefully before making a purchase.

All sales are considered final, except in the specific circumstances outlined below.

Non-Refundable Situations (Change of Mind, Personal Preference)

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for original artwork in the following situations:

• Change of Mind: You have no automatic right to a refund if you simply change your mind about a purchase.

• Personal Preference: The artwork is created in a specific style. We cannot offer a refund if the piece does not match your subjective personal preference (e.g., it doesn't match your wall color).

• Minor Variations: As all pieces are hand-painted and unique, minor variations from website photos or descriptions are expected and not grounds for a refund.

• Buyer Mishandling: Damage that occurs after the item has been safely delivered and is due to the buyer's mishandling or improper care is not eligible for a refund.

  
  

Refundable/Returnable Situations

In compliance with consumer protection laws, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the item is faulty or not as described. You must notify us in writing within a reasonable time frame (e.g., 7 days of receipt is standard) to report these issues.

• Damaged in Transit: If your artwork arrives damaged, please document the damage immediately (photos of the packaging and the artwork) and contact us within [Insert number, e.g., 3] business days of delivery. We will initiate a claim with the delivery service and arrange a refund or replacement.

• Defective or Not as Described: If the artwork has a material defect or does not match the core description or agreed-upon specifications (e.g., wrong size, different materials than agreed upon), you may be eligible for a refund or replacement.

  
  

Important Considerations

• Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all refund claims.

• Original Condition: Eligible returns must be sent back in their original packaging and condition.

• Custom/Commissioned Pieces: Custom or commissioned artwork is generally non-returnable and non-refundable, as it is created specifically for you. Exceptions are made only for damage during shipping or defects in craftsmanship, as noted above.

• Shipping Costs: The customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged item).

  
  

By purchasing a painting from DZY, you agree to this policy.

Once you complete your purchase, DZY will send you an optional re-sale agreement to sign.

If you decide to resell your artwork in the future, a 15% commission is returned to the artist or her estate.

This ensures the piece keeps its value, its story, and its connection to the artist -safeguarding the longevity of your investment.
